Attorney Ashley Severance received her Juris Doctor degree from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. Mrs. Severance entered law school on an academic scholarship which was later increased based on her pro bono work in the community.  Prior to entering law school, she received her Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida.  

During law school she was certified by the Supreme Court of the State of Florida as a legal intern which allowed her to participate in the Barry Children and Families Clinic where she represented low-income children, many of which had Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).  She also interned for Legal Aid where she assisted low income clients in a variety of legal matters.
 
As a family law attorney, Mrs. Severance continues to work as a child advocate.  In each of her marital settlement agreements, she attaches and incorporates a list of children's rights.  Mrs. Severance has appeared in numerous television news appearances for her work and advocacy for child victims.

Ashley Severance is a trained Collaborative Divorce Lawyer and has extensive formal continuing legal education training in Collaborative Divorce Law.  She is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals "IACP".

In addition to practicing family law, Mrs. Severance also practices in the area of bankruptcy, focusing primarily on debtor's rights.

Mrs. Severance is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and the Middle District of Florida.  She is a member of the Florida Bar and the Brevard County Bar Association.
